FlowerHire at MJBizCon 2021

The FlowerHire fam woke up glowing in gratitude, deeply appreciative for our colleagues and friends who showed up to create an incredible “KIKI @ the COPA” event last evening at the Velveteen Rabbit. Our co-hosts House of Puff and MAISON BLOOM were instrumental in helping us greet  over 200 VIP guests – all of whom relished the chance of a respite from the adrenaline overload of “the strip”, and to be with a carefully curated group of industry leaders, aka  “people you really want to to talk to.“ Co-sponsors Honeysuckle Magazine, Oasis Intelligence, and Alpha Root mixed their tribes with ours, and the result was as always, a cross-section of the industry’s most compelling peeps.

“FlowerHire really knows how to bring the right people together.”

Erica Roane, Sr Marketing Manager, Curaleaf

All the connecting is happening in the context of MJBizCon – the industry’s largest annual professional cannabis event hosted each year in Las Vegas. The conference includes over 1,000+ exhibitors, 250,000+ square feet  of expositions,  and 80+ speakers . Three days packed with events, programs, parties and networking opportunities certainly means that attending MJBizCon is exciting and fun, but it’s 100% for professionals – it’s not a lifestyle show, and surprisingly to some there are no actual cannabis products bought or sold on the show floor. Attendees are here to do business –industry leaders and their key staffers, entrepreneurs, inventors and start-ups, private equity investors and VCs, as well as advocates, activists, and policymakers.

For FlowerHire, and our focus on  Talent in Cannabis, it’s a time to be in- person with our clients and candidates and build upon existing relationships, while developing new ones with leading  industry leading executives, founders, investors, and HR leaders. We set up camp at the Vdara Hotel Tuesday evening, elated by the opportunity to be face-to-face with the folks we’re zooming, chatting, and texting with all year long.

“This is the space for having authentic, meaningful conversations with the strategic leaders who are building this industry from the ground up, “ says Director of Business Development, Karen KMesh Meshkov. “This time together is so powerful –there’s a level of connection that only comes from being in person. “

On Thursday morning, FlowerHire hosted  a brunch at the Waldorf Astoria to  offer another chance for our colleagues to take a break from the noise on the show floor, and connect with the right people in a terrific  setting.  (We’re appreciative of partners PGP Capital and the Mulholland Project for providing the Presidential Suite for this event.)

Keep an eye on our social Twitter and Instagram social feeds for more MJBizCon 2021 observations, news, and to meet the people who are the Talent in Cannabis.

“I’ve been bombarded by people saying that our event was the only thing they’ve ever actually enjoyed about Vegas. They’re beyond thankful to meet “just great people doing great work.”
