Dreamers, leaders, advocates – we’re still basking in your wisdom. Last week, against the backdrop of Hall of Flowers Santa Rosa, we brought 300 beautiful humans together. Diverse backgrounds and intentions, all united by the power of glorious cannabis. We’re building this industry together in live time, friends, and the potential is endlessly inspiring.
Every facet of the industry – from seed-to-sale – was represented. We connected over a series of kickbacks, sessions and activities, with an emphasis on community, elevating women and social equity. Footage was captured of all event magic, including multiple Sunset Sessions interviews with industry vets and a BIPOC women Cannabis Stories video. We’re excited to share this content with you over the next few weeks.
It’s our responsibility to all do our part to help create an equitable industry and it all begins with intention. We’re proud to be able to positively influence the hiring process in helping to create this and to add more visibility through content and events. We hosted a fireside social equity chat with the luminous Kimberly Dillon of Frigg and Chris Ball of Ball Family Farms (BFF).
