Hamptons Cannabis Soiree 2021 Recap

Spread the Love

On one of the key end-of-summer weekends in the Hamptons, cannabis legalization was to be seen changing the New York social scene. On Friday August 20, a diverse, well-heeled crowd of cannabis industry leaders, influencers, and innovators gathered in the Hamptons for a private cannabis soirée and fundraiser produced by FlowerHire, House of Puff, and Artet.

Anyone who arrived with pre-legalization cannabis culture stereotypes was met with a swanky, smart group of business professionals, engaged in idea sharing, advocacy, and relaxed networking. Kristina Lopez Adduci (CEO, House of Puff) hosted the posh poolside party on the grounds of her Hamptons beach house.

Complete with infused bites and cannabis cocktails, the event reflected a communal commitment to the industry’s focus on redressing societal wrongs from the War on Drugs.

A key success of the evening was raising funds for the Cannabis Impact Fund, which aims to make ethical business practices easier for cannabis companies by creating meaningful, vetted pathways for the industry to support nationwide racial justice initiatives.

With the entire grounds decked out in Hamptons chic, a gentle live music soundtrack by Beet Boys, and a silent art auction, the impressive roster of guests sipped “Stoni Negronis” and other cannabis micro-infused beverages by Artet, and enjoyed the host’s private stock of home grow – in Italian bruschetta and in pre-rolls.

As one of the first post-legalization NY events, the evening modeled elegant cannabis-friendly entertaining at its best.
